The event was attended by approximately 116 participants, comprising both medical and non-medical professionals.The CME featured eminent speakers including Dr. Sankar, Dr. Shailesh Pande, Dr. Hema Purandarey, Dr. Vandana Bansal, Dr. Shubha Phadke, and Dr. Ashwin Dalal. The scientific sessions provided a comprehensive overview of recent advances in reproductive and neonatal genetics, covering themes such as The Intersection of Genomics and Genetic Counseling: Current Status and Future Perspectives, Genetic Techniques and Their Applications, Exploring the Genetic Connection between Recurrent Pregnancy Loss and Fetal Malformations, Unlocking the Genetic Secrets of Infertility, Current Trends in Fetal Assessment and Management, Newborn Screening: Early Detection for a Healthier Future, and Approach to a Patient with VOUS or a Normal Exome Report. Collectively, these talks highlighted evolving diagnostic approaches, clinical applications of genomic technologies, and challenges in genetic interpretation across the reproductive and neonatal spectrum. As part of the programme, special emphasis was placed on community awareness regarding pediatric rare genetic disorders. Dr. Shailesh Pande delivered an overview of the ongoing activities under the Mission Program for Pediatric Rare Genetic Disorders, sharing valuable insights into the significance of this initiative for patients and families affected by rare genetic conditions.
