An awareness program was conducted at Dhangri village of district Rajouri under the theme “Benefits of genetic testing and counselling for genetic disorders” on 11th of December 2023 by Human Genetics Laboratory, Department of Biotechnology, BGSB University Rajouri. The program was conducted in tribal area with the aim to aware tribal people about various types of genetic disorders. In particular participants were informed about the benefits of genetic testing and counselling. Individuals from all the age groups participated in the awareness program.
