56 nursing students from Leelabai Thackersey College of Nursing visited ICMR-NIRRCH, Dr. Shailesh Pande explained about the Mission program addressing Pediatric Rare Genetic Disorders. Students were explained about various genetic conditions and the complexity of molecular and cytogenetic techniques. Additionally, Dr. Pande also shed light on the significance of mass screening, particularly for disorders like thalassemia and sickle cell anemia.
