The session was conducted for the faculties and parents from the school. 45 - 50 parents in total have attended the awareness session. Dr. Pande explained different strategies for prevention of Genetic disorders (Premarital and Preconception Counselling and Testing , Expanded Carrier Testing, Prenatal Diagnosis, Preimplantation Genetic Testing). The audience were briefed about tests available for diagnosis and option of Preimplantation and Prenatal diagnosis for future pregnancies.
