28 nursing students from P. D. Hinduja Hospital visited the centre. Dr. Pande delivered a talk on "Genetic Testing and Counseling," shedding light on crucial aspects such as genetic tests, genetic conditions, and the indispensable role of genetic counseling. Dr. Pande highlighted the importance of possessing in-depth knowledge in genetic counseling and provided insights into various types of chromosomal abnormalities, including ISCN Nomenclature. The significance of preventing rare genetic diseases and different strategies for prevention were discussed.
